Square Hexad Outies 1
Unit Relationships. Here the square hexad outie unit are arranged in a simple square grid, with no overlaps between them. Units that are above and below meet at a side, which units to the right and left meet only at their points.
Implied Shapes. The negative space between the squares forms three types of figures: a hexagon, a rhombus, and a figure with six points and ten sides that looks a bit like a bird in flight. The latter figure reminds me a bit of Native American designs.
Point Situations.
- A free point: the corner of a square the sticks into the bird shape.
- Meeting of a bird wingtip, a hexagon, and two squares.
- Meeting of two squares along the side of a bird wing.
- Meeting of a bird head, a rhomus, and two squares.
